What we do

Traveline provides comprehensive public transport information to help passengers plan their journeys effectively. Our services include journey planning, departure information, and open data offerings.

Traveline provides journey planning and departure information covering Great Britain by telephone, SMS and the internet. We also provide timetable and real time bus information as open data.

How we’re funded

Traveline receives no public funding and operates as a not-for-profit company. Any financial surplus is reinvested in improving our services, both open data and passenger facing.

Who we are

Traveline Information Ltd is a partnership of transport operators, local authorities and passenger groups formed to provide impartial and comprehensive public transport information.

Traveline is governed by an executive board made up of representatives from transport operators, local authorities, and Passenger Focus.
